Today we announced the debut album from Gadi Sassoon, titled Multiverse.

I still remember the moment I first sat back and absorbed this demo. I had little idea how it was made or the story behind it (I put the music first) but it blew my socks off. Crazy, unexpected sounds, twist and turns, rooted in a deep sense of atmosphere. It wasn’t until I got back to Gadi and we met up in LA that I started to understand the massive amount of detail, history and effort that went into this album. It’s one-of-a-kind, and for some, maybe a little startling, but for many, it will undoubtedly go down as a future classic in its ambition and innovation. Call it experimental in function, ambient in form and soundtrack in nature - it’s a beast best absorbed in either one of Gadi’s performances, or loud on a great system at home.

Pre-order now available.

When you’re young, you’re heavily inspired by what you love and will do anything to be a part of it. The more you create, the more familiar you become as the years move on, and your ambition to perfect it becomes even stronger.

This natural evolution is something Christian Kleine is well versed in and since his first releases in the early 00’s, Christian has been synonymous with perfecting a particular sound that draws from early IDM, breaks and influences as far reaching as Punk music.

Touch & Fuse continues the melodic, drum-driven finesse he has become known for, but instead of trying to perfect anything new, different or conceptual two decades later, we’re treated to an album unconsciously inspired simply, by the wide variety of music he likes.

The slow waltz of album opener Return of The Underground; the nostalgic synthesizers in Nearfield to Nowhere; the electro-punk undercurrent of Number 6; the acid-tinged Val 2, or the Shoegaze-lulls in album closer Room In The Mirror; Touch & Fuse plays like a trip through Christian’s musical upbringing - snapshots in time, told in a timeless manner.

“Touch & Fuse is my way of reflecting where I am and what interests me, in the hope that other people find something for themselves in there as well. For me, music has the power to change my perspectives on time - it can act like a drug pretending I have seen and experienced things I never would have otherwise
— Christian Kleine

Touch & Fuse will be available on Digipack CD + Digital download at Bandcamp>

Released as part of Bandcamp Day, the digital download will be ‘Name Your Price’ on this day only. Juno and other stores will have copies of the CD mid-October - sign up here.

Pre-order: Damm (Joel Mull) / Nautical Dawn

6-ASIPV025 FRONT 6.JPG

Some may be familiar with Joel Mull’s world of electronic music, but only the die-hard may remember his earlier 90's aliases such as 'Damm'.

After years in the studio slowly piecing together the album in between travel and his more regular DJ output, Joel has curated a sublime blend of ambient and electronica styles in his latest album.

Something for everyone at some point no doubt, be it melodic, dubby, chilled out or head-nodding - it's a tough one to pin down as it soundtracks the many colors of the sun and sky at 'Nautical Dawn'.

Pre-order for the Gatefold Deep Transparent Orange 2LP / digital is now available via Bandcamp, with the remaining copies following on Juno & stores worldwide on release day September 27th.

Now available: Quiet Places / Volume 1

I'm lucky enough to be having plenty of fanboy moments lately, and this next release is up there. I'm very excited to introduce a new project by three seasoned electronic music producers, Dennis WhiteCharlie May and Dave Gardner, as Quiet Places.

Between the three, their production roots go deep into some of electronic music's most important outputs of the last few decades. Be it performing live as part of Sasha's recent Refracted shows, their own individual projects such as Spooky, Sentre and Cosmonauts or remixing the likes of M83, The XX, Thom Yorke, Little Dragon or Elizabeth Fraser, they are no strangers to electronica.

Volume 1, born out of a whisky-inspired late-night laptop jam session in Somerset England, takes us on an uninterrupted 60 minute beat-less and immersive trip down the rabbit hole. Along the way we stop off in some familiar, and some not so familiar surroundings. Various characters talk of otherworldly experiences and journeys into deep space, both micro and macro, against a backdrop of hypnotic melodies and haunting electronic soundscapes. Dynamically the record moves between the polar opposites of pin-drop quiet and vast all-engulfing sonic black holes. Becoming, in essence, the soundtrack to a sci-fi movie that has yet to be made.

Volume 1 is available on Gatefold 2LP Transparent Vinyl (featuring vinyl-specific edits) and Digital download, which will include individual track edits and the intended continuous edit.
