A Strangely Isolated Place is looking for artists to contribute to a very special series of upcoming releases.

The Places series will stick to a simple premise and theme, based around the artists very own Strangely Isolated Place.

No one place is the same. No persons musical inspiration is identical. Everybody’s place of escapism is different. ASIP wants to unearth the moments, the music and the inspiration and take you there… to that very moment of conception.

Each release will be inspired, themed and named after a specific location, be it real or imaginary, it will be a place that someone has pictured and drawn inspiration from, and there will be a story behind it.

We’ve got some stunning artists lined up so far, with inspiration coming from a Japanese Typhoon, travels in Vietnam and childhood memories to name but a few. Some names you’ll be familiar with, some will be brand new to your ears, but every release has been meticulously crafted with a reflection in mind and a picture to paint.
