There’s something bubbling under the ASIP hood and i’m really excited to see it coming together and share it’s progress with you here. An ASIP iPhone app is in development, and you can see and hear about the latest below.
Interactive Designer/Developer, Greg Price has been kind enough to lend his excellence, jump on board and get dirty. Needless to say, we have some amazing ideas and plans we want to put into place.
Our mission for the app? We want to give more exposure to the mixes, productions and of course artists included on ASIP. And allow you, the listener quicker, easier and mobile access to the music featured on the site. The app is obviously still in development, but planned functionality includes:
- Dynamically updated featured mixes for you to Download / Sync and Stream
- Filter by artist or genre
- Favourite mixes for easy retrieval
- Access full details of mix including tracklist
- Share currently listening to via Twitter
- Access and read latest site posts
Stay tuned to this page for the latest developments and news. And if you have any feedback, please comment below – we’d love to hear it. You can also visit Greg’s blog for any related App/iOS features and news on the app or follow him on twitter.
**NEWS** November 2011. I just went through a 4 minute screencast of the app which is very near completion – needless to say, it’s looking awesome! Hoping to have it live by the end of the year…
**NEWS** January 2012. Things have gone a little slower than expected, but we’re making good progress. The app is in its final stages and i’m currently uploading old mixes to the database to be tested in a live environment!
