We did it, FULLY FUNDED! And as the clock ticks down with just a few days to go i’ve decided to announce the final vinyl tracklist. So for those who didn’t want to make the vinyl plunge until you knew exactly what you were getting, here it is.
The tracklist was influenced via a mixture of things. The open vote, which clocked an amazing 1,432 votes; the feedback on each of the Soundcloud tracks and of course a little of my own personal curation, which was intent on representing the compilation as a whole and not via any favoured tracks (believe me, I am fond of every single-one after spending over a year planning this thing!)
It’s unfortunate some of the artists and some of my favourite tracks on the compilation wont make the vinyl, but I hope the supporters of these artists find solace in the high-quality download versions, or the CD if you was quick enough to grab one. Maybe one day we can make another limited edition which includes those who missed out this time around…
So (as if you haven’t scrolled to here already) represented on the double, transparent vinyl editions (just 250 available) are:
Public Transport – Rosenheim (dalot remix)
Echaskech – 626 (Kevin Bryce remix)
Textural Being – Vantage Points (Public Transport remix)
Parks – Black Day, Silver Sea (Stray Theories remix)
Kit – Girl Walking On The Beach Wearing A Skirt (Markus Guentner remix)
Markus Guentner – Saint (Sonae remix)
Yeter – Dart 1 (Parks remix)
Markus Guentner – Dockside (Textural reshape)
Sonae – Urban Cruising (Audioglider remix)
Stray Theories – Frozen Skies (Herbstlaub remix)
Odd Shapes – Desert Plant (Echaskech remix)
If you want a copy of the vinyl, be sure to grab one quick before the campaign ends, HERE. Digital download is also still available, along with the amazing bonus content and the tshirts.
If you’ve ordered a copy of the vinyl already, i’ll be in touch soon with final details, timings etc. I hope to have these ready to be shipped in September.
Thank you to all of the artists who have been involved in this release and a big thank you to everyone who has supported it. Hopefully this is just the first of many physical releases from ASIP.
