Textural Being first grabbed my attention back in 2010 with two tracks on Energostatic’s debut compilation, ‘Aesthesia‘. Since then, i’ve been itching for more output from Portland’s answer to dub-techno. I even remember scanning through his Soundcloud and thinking, every track here is top-notch (check it out, some up for free download).
Now, Sage Taylor has released what I think, was a pretty old EP, but a very special one at that, on the newly formed Fundii Recordings. More upbeat that his two tracks on Energostatic, these are 4am dub-techno destroyers. Spaced out, melodic and addictive.
