Basicnoise – U.F.O

As with most dub-techno heads, ambient often takes a lead role in influencing an artist’s sound and productions. Peter Fanai aka Basicnoise has taken his favourite beat-less tracks to form a superb mix that includes classics from Markus Guentner, Vangelis, Art of Noise and Brian Eno. Peter’s main dub-techno influence, Basic Channel, takes a back seat this time around and it’s the heroes of horizontal that take centre stage in this sampled packed selection spanning productions from the 1970’s up until 2009.

  3. Thanks – really enjoyed the mix. also hadn’t heard Raz Ohara & the Odd Orchestra before so (Ryan) “Love for Mrs. Rhodes” is my massively premature track choice for the 2013 isolated mix ;)

  4. Loving this. Wish there was a download for each track rather than as one lolgantic one.

  7. I have always had a thing for the spoken word, especially when it is socially, historically, and generationally significant. some nice quotes deftly spliced amongst the finest sonics from the outer reaches. glorious task done well. it absorbs completely, soaking in sublimely.
