My commute every day in to London is my time to absorb music without any distractions. Nine times out of ten, i’ll listen to a mix and today, Northernshore’s tribute to Echocord provided a deep, dark and dubby journey on the way in and out of the big smoke.
At over two hours long, Matthias Rock (Northernshore) pulls out his favourites from the extensive Echocord label back catalogue and it’s just as well thought through as it is curated. After about 45 minutes, this set takes-off with some massively rounded dub-techno, right about the time I step off a relatively quiet train and do battle with the streets of London. Perfecto.
