Audioglider – Mixtape 6

I’ve been sitting on this one for a while now, but today seemed a good day to release Audioglider’s latest mixtape. Not only because I decided to revisit it after listening to Vector Lovers recent album (“hmmm this track was in a mix recently… aha!…Audioglider’s”), but Roberto has also today released his second remix EP.

We’re on the sixth mix edition now, with most of the previous being featured on ASIP. It goes to show that Roberto has a stunning ear for quality sounds (or at least the kind that i like!) A blend of ambient and mellow electronica, there’s something in here for everyone and a joyous listen, considering Roberto just puts together ‘sporadic mixtapes’!

Whilst Roberto’s first remix EP featured a Balearic stunner from Save.as, the second EP provides two favourites in the form of a melodic inputJunkie take and a stripped back and moody dub-infused remix from Kultrun. You can listen to the EP on Soundcloud with links to by on iTunes and Beatport.

Speaking of inputJunkie, he also released a rather nice selection of tracks, with several Helios remixes and tracks from Death Center, Boards of Canada and Manual.

Anyway, before I get lost in a spiraling musical discovery vortex, here’s the mix from Audioglider which I promised you a few paragraphs ago. Tracks from Emphemetry (featured on the ASIP Modyfier mix), a new one from Rhian Sheehan’s recent release and as mentioned above, a minimal and quirky electronic piece from Vector Lovers recent album, ‘Electrospective’. And, I’ll put it out there… I’m not a fan of Radiohead, but the ‘Leftside Wobble’s Off-World Excursion’ remix featured here is brilliant…
