Sound Garden 006

Nick Warren’s latest Sound Garden for Frisky Radio is yet again another installment of classic tracks and recent downtempo finds.

A trip back to Bvdub’s 2009 ‘Silent Reign‘ EP with ‘Isolation’s Embrace’ and ‘Anyone Who Remembered You Is Gone'; some recent autonomic tracks from Stray and Croms; another beauty from ‘Meta.83′ (who featured on James Holden’s Balance 005 mix); some new electronica by Angelo Battilani and two of Pop Ambient 2011‘s starring tracks by Mikkel Metal and Marsen Jules. Speaking of Balance mixes, Nick has also just announced he will be compiling the next in the series (018), due out April 2011.

And something not included in the mix, but produced by Stray – this remix of a classic Helios track – ‘First Dream Called Ocean’.

  3. Loving the sad, esoteric feel to the tracks. Perfect for an Indian evening
