Two admirable ambient sets released as bonus mixes on the EMPULSE.FM website. Compiled by Canadian based John Murrin using Ableton, an APC-40 and one turntable, John normally publishes one mix a month ranging from electronica, electro and techno and in his finest instance – ambient. Both sets feature a perfected mix of electronic influences in the form of Mount Kimbie, Aphex Twin and Claro Intelecto, with more instrumental and classical moments such as Nils Frahm, Max Richter and Peter Broderick.
These look to be the first two in an ongoing series, so keep an eye out for more of the same.
