With one popular mix already posted on ASIP, (his Orb Heroes Mix), DjKiRA takes a dip into classic soundtracks to include samples in the form of Avatar, recent selections from the highly rated Inception soundtrack, along with classic film moments from Total Recall, Aliens and Bladerunner.
The London chillout veteran even manages to squeeze in some of Howard Shore’s finest work from Lord of The Rings – that alone sold it to me, I’m on my third trip to see the LOTR soundtrack being played live at the Royal Albert Hall later this month!(pictured) (geek….yes i know).
The set was released as part of DjKiRA’s ‘Liquid cool’ radio show on Frisky Radio - “a monthly excursion in to the beautiful ambient & chillout music being produced now, as well as a nod to the classics of yesteryear”.
